reating New Product Acceptance

To achieve success for a new FBO Series Flaskless Molding Machine for our client
Roberts Sinto Corporation, we used a dramatic theme that tied together all the
elements of the program. It included personalized direct mail to announce a
demonstration video, a colorful, fold-out brochure told the products benefits
story and graphics highlighted the product’s quality performance features. A
large number of testimonial styled editorials were placed in select trade magazines
highlighting the success of the product at foundries all over the US and Canada.
To educate potential customers and build sales leads for the FBO Series Flaskless
Molding Machine we placed a six page product brochure insert into one of the national trade magazines.
We followed this up with a series of testimonial styled ads that included a direct
quote from the owner or foundry manager that had recently purchased the machine.
We developed a program called “Partners in Progress” and to introduce this program
we inserted a six page editorial styled format that included product performance
stories from a wide variety of satisfied foundry owners and managers.

The firm’s website also includes testimonials from installations. In less
than two years we were running full page ads heralding…”We’re Number One”
thanking customers for their enthusiastic acceptance of the product.
